Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) is a gentle, non-invasive wellness modality that uses low-frequency sound and vibration to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.
This therapy is designed for people who feel overwhelmed, stressed, tense, or unable to fully relax—even when they try. VAT offers a body-based approach to rest that does not require talking, effort, or physical manipulation.
During a VAT session, sound frequencies are delivered through a specialized mat while you rest comfortably. These vibrations travel through the body, encouraging muscle relaxation and helping the nervous system shift out of a constant state of alertness.
From a practical standpoint, many clients experience VAT as deeply calming—similar to the body’s response during meditation or very deep rest. The goal is not stimulation, but regulation.

VAT may be beneficial if you are seeking:
Each person’s experience is unique. Some clients enter a meditative or dream-like state, while others simply rest deeply. There is no right or wrong experience.
Each session is intentionally paced and guided for comfort and safety.
Clients remain fully clothed throughout the session. No effort is required—you are invited to simply rest.

Clients often describe:
These effects may be subtle or noticeable, immediate or gradual.
Vibroacoustic Therapy is a complementary wellness service and is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
VAT may not be appropriate for everyone. A brief intake is required prior to scheduling to ensure safety and suitability.
Not recommended for individuals with implanted electronic medical devices, including pacemakers or cochlear implants.
Your comfort and safety always come first.
